About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Engineer to join our growing security team. This role involves protecting our systems, networks, and data from cyber threats while supporting secure development and infrastructure practices.

This position is suitable for candidates with 2+ years of hands-on cybersecurity or IT security experience and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts
• Implement and manage security controls across cloud and on-premise environments
• Assist in security audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities
• Support incident response and forensic investigations
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure secure system design
• Maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or IT security
• Experience with tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, or vulnerability scanners
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and encryption protocols
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP – optional for junior roles)
